Happy Tails Recipient Jack
Jack was shot and left to die. The Happy Tails Fund paid for his surgery at Freeman-Fritts and a period of rehabilitation for his paralyzed back legs. We found him a home in a rescue which hopes to adopt him out.
How Happy Tails Works
The Happy Tails Fund allows us to save many animals in danger of euthanization at Kerr County Animal Services. We provide the initial vet care necessary to get the animals in good enough shape to be transported to rescues around the country that we partner with, and which can adopt them out better than we can. This allows us to save animals that we can't take in because we are always full.
